After receiving a bachelors degree from Trinity Christian College in 2004, I worked in a corporate sales environment for several years. I was never truly happy until I decided to fulfill my dream of working with animals. I completed the groomer training program from The Academy of Dog Grooming Arts in Arlington Heights, IL in 2011. After my training, I had a wonderful opportunity to work under an award-winning certified master groomer for 4 years before opening my home based business in 2015. With nothing but love for the work and art of grooming, I have been attending seminars and also grooming competitvely at the All American Grooming Show in order to further my knowledge and skill. I am a member of IPPGA (Illinois Professional Pet Groomers Association) I currently serve on the board with the Friends of Oak Forest Animal Control Commission. This program works in partnership with Oak Forest Animal Control to provide rescue and re-homing of unclaimed and abandoned local animals, works to improve facility conditions, increase the success rate of reuniting lost pets with their owners, and educate the community in responsible pet ownership and care. Please click here and like Friends of Oak Forest Animal Control Facebook page and help give these animals a better chance to find their owners by giving them visibility by more people.

Our family has two dogs. Cannoli is a Poodle mix and Biscotti is a Bichon Frise. Biscotti was an unclaimed dog that came through Oak Forest Animal Control and ended up being a perfect fit for our family.  We also have a Siamese mix, Ooshi.
